Homebirth

Picture

The place a woman intends to birth her baby is a deeply personal decision.
Tiffany provides a service to women who have decided that their strong preference is to birth in the comfort and safety of their home. An intention to birth at home sets the foundation on which Tiffany provides all care.

All appointments take place in your home

We plan for homebirth however...

Homebirth is not guaranteed. Occasionally, a hospital may be recommended as the safest and best place to give birth.

During a hospital birth, Tiffany takes on a non-clinical support role only. This means that the hospital midwives and medical staff will provide you with expert clinical care in complex medical situations.

When homebirth does not eventuate, navigating the complex medical system can be a more well integrated and positive experience with the support and guidance of a private midwife.
